GDPR Compliance

Last updated: January 13, 2026

At Faimora Interiors, we respect the privacy of every visitor and client, including those located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. This page explains how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the UK GDPR when processing personal data of individuals in those regions.

1. Data Controller

Faimora Interiors acts as the data controller for personal data collected through Faimora.com. You can reach our privacy team at info@faimora.com with the subject line “GDPR Request.”

2. Personal Data We Process

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity & contact data: name, email, phone number, company name.
  • Project data: floor plans, property addresses, design briefs, and reference photos shared during consultations.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, operating system, referring URL.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, time on site, interactions with our content.
  • Marketing data: communication preferences, newsletter subscription status.

3. Lawful Bases for Processing

Under Article 6 of the GDPR, we only process your personal data when one of the following lawful bases applies:

  • Consent — for newsletter sign-ups, optional cookies, and marketing communications.
  • Contract — to provide design, visualization, and consultation services you have engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — to improve the website, analyze usage, prevent fraud, and respond to inquiries, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — request deletion of your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, where processing is based on consent.
  • Right to lodge a complaint — with your local supervisory authority (e.g., your country’s Data Protection Authority or the UK ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, email info@faimora.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days, as required by Article 12 of the GDPR.

5. International Data Transfers

Faimora is based in the United States, and personal data of EEA/UK individuals may be transferred to and stored in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. For such transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and equivalent UK data protection mechanisms.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and as required by applicable law. Project files are typically retained for the duration of the engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for portfolio, dispute, and tax purposes. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe.

7. Cookies & Consent

For visitors from the EEA and UK, non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing, third-party embeds) are loaded only after you provide explicit consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our website.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures — including HTTPS encryption, access controls, secure file transfer for project assets, and regular review of our processors — to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

9. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by Article 33 of the GDPR, and we will inform affected individuals without undue delay where required by Article 34.

10. Children’s Data

Faimora.com is not intended for children under 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Updates to This Page

We may update this GDPR Compliance page periodically to reflect changes in our practices, regulations, or processors. The “Last updated” date above indicates when changes were made.
